- Write the previously learned alternative pronunciation graphemes on card (or use your existing flashcards): i, o, e, a, u, c/ce, g, y.
- Chosen method of recording - paper, books etc. + pencils.
- Phase 5 phonics extension sheets for today's alternative pronunciation.
- Write the following sentences on the whiteboard.

The machine is very noisy!
My mum is a chef. Her food is so tasty!
My dad has a moustache.
You visit the chemist when you feel poorly.
Is it time for school?
