Week Twenty

In this twentieth week of Phase 1, lessons will cover:

Aspect 1: Environmental Sounds

Aspect 5: Alliteration

Aspect 6: Voice Sounds

Children will listen to recordings of your voice making a range of sounds, and will be asked to suggest what the sounds might represent. They will play a game of Silly Soup, practising alliteration. During enhanced provision they will take part in a feelings activity.

This phase 1 phonics planning is aligned with the order of teaching in the Letters and Sounds framework, and is packed full of easy to prepare teaching input and phase 1 phonics resources to help children make progress in phonics.
