Week Twenty One

In this twenty first week of Phase 1, lessons will cover:

Aspect 7: Oral Blending and Segmenting.

Children will practise oral blending and segmenting using a sound talk puppet as well as clap out the phonemes in words. During enhanced provision they will work on physical development with bubbly water play.

This phase 1 phonics planning is aligned with the order of teaching in the Letters and Sounds framework, and is packed full of easy to prepare teaching input and phase 1 phonics resources to help children make progress in phonics.
