Week Two

In this second week of Phase 3, children will learn to say and recognise the sounds: y, z, zz, qu, ch. Children will learn to read pseudo and real words using the sounds they know, and differentiate between the two.

This phase 3 phonics planning is aligned with the order of teaching in the Letters and Sounds framework, and is packed full of easy to prepare teaching input and phase 3 phonics resources to help children make progress.
