Week Fifteen

In this fifteenth week of Phase 1, lessons will cover:

Aspect 1: Environmental Sounds.

Aspect 6: Voice Sounds.

Children will play a game of Sleeping Lions, listening to environmental sounds around them. They will also listen to a sound story,  listening to different voice sounds. In enhanced provision, children will use small world objects to create their own sound story.

This phase 1 phonics planning is aligned with the order of teaching in the Letters and Sounds framework, and is packed full of easy to prepare teaching input and phase 1 phonics resources to help children make progress in phonics.
