- Phase 2 sound cards: s, a, t, p, i, n, m. PRINT IN A5 or A4 SIZE.
- A selection of objects/picture cards with a variety of initial sounds learned so far. Make sure that some of the objects have the initial sound ‘m’. For these objects/picture cards, you could use: a mouse, a mat, milk, a man, a mask, a map, a monkey, a mitten, a mug, a magnet.
- 'm' letter formation rhyme sheets, these can be cut into 3 strips but you need 1 strip per child.
- Phase 2 set 2 phonics extension activity sheet for today's GPC.
