- Phase 2 and 3 sound cards (enough for children to have a pile per pair or each).
- Phase 5 sound cards: ay, ou, ie, ea, oy, ir, ue/ ue, wh, ph, ew/ew, aw.
- Phase 5 digraph rhyme card: 'fawn on the lawn'.
- Optional feely bag/soft toy.
- Write the following sentences on cards:
Cats’ claws are sharp.
They saw that the fox had hurt its paw.
I am good at jigsaws.
The rabbit sleeps in the straw. - Phase 5 phonics extension sheet for today's GPC.
