Phase 4

Week Four

In this fourth week of Phase 4, children will continue to revise phase 2 and 3 phonemes and graphemes, as well as recognising, saying and reading and writing words with adjacent consonants.  Children will also have a go at reading sentences with polysyllabic words.

This phase 4 phonics planning is aligned with the order of teaching in the Letters and Sounds framework, and is packed full of easy to prepare teaching input and phase 4 phonics resources to help children make progress.
