Week Three

In the third week of phase 2, children will learn to say and recognise the sounds: g, o, c and k, as well as the tricky word 'to'.

This will build on the phonemes and high frequency words learnt so far and there will be plenty of opportunities to revisit and apply this learning throughout the week. It also ensures that children are taught to decode and spell tricky words appropriate to their level of progress
